Privacy Policy
This policy explains what happens to your information when you play Gym Tycoon: Fitness Empire (the “game”) on iOS or Android. The game is made by Emrullah Hancer, an independent developer, who is the data controller for the limited data described here (“we”, “us”).
1. Information stored on your device
Your game progress (gym layout, money, gems, staff, settings, language and similar data) is saved locally on your device using the Capacitor Preferences storage. We do not have access to it and it is not uploaded to any server we operate. There is no sign-up, username, email or password.
In the browser version (Play in browser), progress is kept in your browser's local storage on your own device; it contains no ads, no in-app purchases and no tracking. Clearing your browser data deletes it. When you play on a third-party game portal, that portal's own privacy policy also applies to its ads and services.
2. Information collected by third-party services
To provide ads, purchases and leaderboards the game integrates the services below. They process data under their own privacy policies.
- Google AdMob (rewarded video ads). When you choose to watch a rewarded ad, Google may collect your device’s advertising ID (IDFA on iOS, Android Advertising ID on Android), IP address, approximate location derived from it, device and app information, and ad interaction data, to deliver and measure ads, prevent fraud and, where you consent, personalize ads. See how Google uses data from partner apps and the Google Privacy Policy.
- RevenueCat (in-app purchases). Purchases are processed by Apple or Google; RevenueCat helps us validate them and restore them. It receives an anonymous app user ID generated for your install, your purchase receipts / transaction details, and basic device and platform information (such as country and app version). It does not receive your name, email or payment card details. See the RevenueCat Privacy Policy.
- Apple Game Center (iOS) / Google Play Games Services (Android). To show leaderboards and achievements, the game sends your scores and unlocked achievements to Apple or Google. Your player ID and the name or alias you chose there are handled by Apple or Google and may be visible to other players on leaderboards according to your Game Center or Play Games settings. See the Apple Privacy Policy and Google Privacy Policy.
3. Advertising consent and your choices
Advertising identifiers are used only with your consent where the law requires it:
- Google UMP consent form. In the European Economic Area, the UK and some other regions the game shows Google’s consent message the first time ads are initialised. You can change your answer at any time from the privacy options offered in the game’s settings, where available.
- Apple App Tracking Transparency (iOS). The game asks for permission before accessing the IDFA. If you tap “Ask App Not to Track” (or turn it off in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking), ads are not personalized using your IDFA.
- Android. You can reset or delete your advertising ID and opt out of ad personalization in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads.
- Rewarded ads are always optional. If you decline or ignore them you can still play the whole game.
4. What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not use advertising, analytics or crash-reporting SDKs other than those listed above, and we do not build advertising profiles ourselves.
- We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos or precise location.
5. Children
The game is not directed to children under 13 (or under the minimum age of digital consent in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided information through the game, contact us and we will help get it removed with the relevant provider.
6. Retention and deletion
Local game data stays on your device until you delete it. Uninstalling the game removes all locally stored data.
Data held by third parties (Google AdMob, RevenueCat, Apple, Google) is retained under their policies. To ask for deletion of data linked to your install, such as RevenueCat purchase records, email us at developeremrullah@gmail.com with your purchase/order ID where possible, and we will pass the request on to the provider. You can also use the privacy controls offered by Apple and Google for your account.
7. International transfers and security
Our service providers may process data in countries other than your own, including the United States, under their own safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses). Connections to these services use encryption in transit. Because we store nothing on our own servers, there is no central database of players for us to protect or lose.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR/UK GDPR, the Turkish KVKK or California law) you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of personal data, and to withdraw consent. Because we hold no account data, most requests are fulfilled by the third parties above or by uninstalling the app. You may also complain to your local data protection authority. Contact us at developeremrullah@gmail.com and we will gladly help.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the game changes (for example if an analytics service is added). The effective date above will be updated and, for material changes, the game or this site will say so.
